10.23.10 Ceremony & Reception
The bride, Carolyn, has worked in the event industry and therefore knew exactly what to do to make her Big Day memorable. Every detail was immaculate, tasteful and full of whimsy. It was a night to remember for all the guests.

Sangeet Celebration
Quite recently, Loft on Lake was host to something truly unique: an Indian Sangeet celebration. A sort of a rehearsal dinner for all the guests, the highlight of the event were the henna artists and the jaw-dropping lighting and draping by Deborah from Art of Imagination.

Heather and David
For Heather and David's wedding reception, everyone pulled out all the stops. Anthony Navarro of Liven It Up Events (with help from Julie Ratowitz of Windy City Linens) put on a fabulous party! The drapery and lighting by Art of Imagination was over the top, Bonsoiree served Grilled Escolar and Braised Beef Short Ribs followed by a beautiful and delicious wedding cake by Keli Faymaro at Vanille Patisserie. Laura Kimmel of Tablescapes provided the rentals and music provided by DJ Corey Sanford. Check out the pictures here.
Erica and Jake
Erica and Jake had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Loft. Deborah from Art of Imagination came thru again with amazing drapery and lighting and lovely details. Beth Barnett from Larkspur Chicago did the chuppa and other floral designs. Guests moved from the ceremony area to the front transition space for the cocktail hour while Jewell Catering passed hors d'oeuvres and set up the tables. After cocktails, guests moved back into the main room to find the Grand Loft space transformed into the most elegant wonderland! Tables set with clear glass chargers and stunning glassware. Erica made the lighted centerpieces herself, and each guest referenced an easel display for their seating assignment, designated by the couple's favorite alcoholic beverage brands! The main course was Grilled Bistro Beef with Merlot Reduction or Crepe Purse filled with Ratatouille followed by Hazelnut Buttercake with Salted Caramel and Cream Cheese Filling. WOW, how delicious.... Check out the photos here.
The Diva Principle
Ceremony and Reception at Loft on Lake
Alisha and Dan got married at Loft on Lake! Deborah Weisenhaus from Art of Imagination did a fabulous job of draping and lighting the Loft. After the ceremony, the guests moved to the transition space at the front of the venue while the chairs were moved from the ceremony space to the tables which were already set and in place. You can see from the photos that the drapery was swagged open after the ceremony to reveal the banquet and define the dance floor and DJ.
